Pricing FAQ
Do you charge success fees on top of the base price?
Nope. We quote a flat fee upfront. That's it. Some advisors layer on success bonuses — we find that creates weird incentives. You pay us based on scope, not on how high the final number goes.
What if the deal falls apart halfway through?
Real talk? We refund a portion of unused services. If you bail in month two of a six-month engagement, you're not paying for months five and six. We want to be on the same side. And yes, deals do die — it happens.
Are there extra costs for things like legal reviews or valuation reports?
Our fees cover our work. You'll need separate counsel (we recommend several firms), and accountants for tax planning. Those are separate line items. We don't take a cut of those fees — wouldn't be right.
Can you work with a limited budget, or is there a minimum?
Our smallest deals start around $25K, which works for transactions under $10M. Below that, the math breaks down for what we can actually deliver. But we're happy to talk — sometimes a phone call saves you money down the road.
